We live in the richest country in the world but working people can’t afford groceries, rent, or health care while some billionaires pay less in taxes than a teacher. Prices rise, wages stay flat, and politicians look the other way and often take money from the same corporations that make life harder for us. The game is rigged so working people always lose. We’re done playing by those rules.
Instead of helping our families live dignified and thriving lives, some politicians are focusing on scapegoating immigrants, and spending our tax dollars to bomb other countries. When out-of-control federal agents descend on our cities, attacking our immigrant neighbors and communities of color, it makes us all less safe. It’s time for leadership from the bottom up — working people winning power and demanding a country that works for all of us.
